Omnisio GPS · Field tracking

The right tracker starts with the right workflow.

Choose how you capture and transfer outdoor session data. Infinity is built around cellular transfer. Inspirit is built around recording and post-session synchronisation. Omnisio Team is the staff workspace above the configured data path.

Two operational choices.

Omnisio Infinity

Prioritise a connected field workflow and the ability to receive data during the session when the network and integration are available.

Explore Infinity

Omnisio Inspirit

Prioritise a repeatable record, collect and transfer routine after the session, using the supported Hub or USB process.

Compare the practical differences.

Sampling capability, cloud delivery and the metrics enabled in your Team workspace are separate questions. The comparison keeps them separate.

Omnisio Infinity: These are receiver specifications, not a promise of 25 Hz or 10 Hz end-to-end API delivery.

Omnisio Inspirit: Standard Inspirit only. No claim of a universal 18 Hz mode or of Inspirit LAB laboratory capabilities.

Manufacturer reference specifications for the described device. Battery life, data availability and connectivity depend on configuration, accessories and operating conditions. The agreed Omnisio package defines what is supplied.

Know every step between the athlete and the screen.

Infinity: connected transfer

Tracker → cellular network → provider cloud → configured Omnisio integration → authorised Team view.

Inspirit: record, then transfer

Tracker recording → supported Hub/USB transfer → configured import or provider ingestion → authorised Team view.

Measured, transferred and interpreted are not the same.

Device and accessory signals

GNSS and motion data come from the tracking device. Additional physiological signals depend on a compatible, correctly configured accessory.

Session metrics

Distance, speed zones or session summaries depend on the actual data and the processing enabled for the organisation.

Professional interpretation

The staff considers field workload alongside permitted athlete context. The tracker itself does not diagnose recovery or predict an injury.

Choose with three practical questions.

  1. When do staff need the data?

During the session, or after a planned collection and transfer routine?

  2. What does the venue support?

Outdoor positioning conditions, network coverage, charging and a practical place to handle the devices.

  3. Who owns the operational routine?

Agree who assigns devices, checks source status and completes post-session review.

Frequently asked questions

Will GPS work reliably inside a sports hall?

Do not select these devices on that assumption. GNSS positioning is an outdoor capability. Indoor positioning or sport-specific jump metrics require separately supported technology and validation.

Does a device specification guarantee the same live API frequency?

No. Receiver sampling, transmitted data and the Team display cadence are separate layers. Confirm the configured output rather than assuming every sensor sample appears live in the panel.

Are accessories and connectivity included?

The agreed offer defines the hardware, accessories, connectivity and software scope. The comparison is not a box-contents list or an offer of free cellular service.
